A narrower-than-usual runway on approach will tend to make a pilot —

A narrow runway looks like a wider one seen from farther away and higher up, so the natural correction is to descend. A wide runway does the opposite, producing a high flare and a hard landing. Upsloping terrain and rain on the windscreen add the same low-approach bias.

A part 135 flight crewmember assigned to unscheduled operations must be given a rest period of at least —

Ten consecutive hours of rest precedes an assignment of up to 8 hours of flight time, and the required rest grows as scheduled flight time increases. Rest means free of all duty and all present responsibility for work.

The 5-statute-mile radius is the detail that catches people out: a TAF describes the airport vicinity, not the route or a nearby field. For anything between terminals you need area forecasts, prog charts, and PIREPs.
