Jim Creek RC Park | RC Flying Field Weather

Live conditions for this AMA model airfield in Palmer, AK, decoded from PABV, 16 nm away, the closest station reporting right now, because this field's usual station PAAQ has no current report: wind, gusts, visibility, and an RC flyability read before you drive to the field.

Activities listed by the club: First Person View, Multi-Rotor. 12 other AMA fields sit within 50 miles.

MARGINAL

Experienced pilots

Better suited to sport and aerobatic models with some wing loading; not a day for trainers or light foamies.

🌙 It's dark at the field right now. Sunrise 9:15 AM AKDT.

Why Marginal: low visibility · 28°F, battery capacity drops.

Based on PABV, 16 nm away. Measured at the airport, not the field. This field's usual station PAAQ has no current report, so PABV is the closest station reporting now.

⚠️ Weather shown is from the nearest full-scale reporting station, not measured at the field. Not for flight decisions: assess wind and sky conditions on site and follow the AMA Safety Code and your club's field rules.

Runway winds & crosswind

Enter your field's runway once. We'll remember it on this device and show live components plus today's forecast crosswind.

This field's runway orientation isn't in the published FAA/AMA data (we never guess it). If you fly here, type your runway number above. Members see live crosswind instantly, and it's remembered on this device.
